Centre For Financial Literacy Phase-II

Objective To provide financial literacy & facilitate delivery of financial services (savings, credit, social schemes, insurance etc.) to the rural people.
Target Group Ages between 18 and above
Project Period February 2022 to March 2025
Funding Agency Guided by Reserve Bank of India and financially supported by NABARD, State Bank of India and Bank of India.
Coverage of Area District: Bokaro, Latehar, Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra, West Singhbhum, Ramgarh, Ranchi, Gumla, Hazaribagh.

Activities Carried Out
  • Village level awareness programme on Financial Literacy
  • Organized special bank campaigns to sensitize villagers on financial products
  • PRIs and Block-level meetings with stakeholders and financial institutions
Achievement & Result
  • 6264 Financial Literacy Camps organized; 302545 people benefited directly and indirectly.
  • Through financial literacy, 28791 beneficiaries were included through Social Security schemes:
